In einem einwöchigen Workshop, im Centre international d'Art Verrier Meisenthal, habe ich mich mit dem Material Glas und dem Handwerk des Glasblasens vertraut gemacht.
Der Gestaltungsprozess mit diesem besonderen Material und die Zusammenarbeit mit erfahrenen Handwerkern waren sehr inspirierend. 
Das Ergebnis sind zwei Objekte, die jeweils als Schale oder Cloche genutzt werden können. Durch das Einblasen des Glases in die Form von unterschiedlichen Seiten sind aus einer Form zwei verschiedene Objekte entstanden.

I participated in a one-week workshop about the basic designing of blown glass.
It provided the possibility of creating products through a more explorative way and the enriching opportunity to work and communicate with highly qualified craftsman.

I became very interested in how every piece from the same mold could look very different in the end by manipulating it.
Finally I pursued the idea of using a mold  from two different sides to create two nearly identical shaped objects with the same mold. However, these objects appear very differently as products in use through their contrasting top- and underside.
